Quilt Size: 43" square With Borders - 48" square This quilt is magic - it shows the dragon through the lattice! While the pattern is for a wall hanging size, you only need to add a couple of borders to make it up to a lap rug.  The instructions are also given to graph it up to the original queen size (84" x 84").  There are two different pattern instructions for the squares, but you could replace them with any of your own choice.

Spring Song Pattern Book

 

Quilt size: 53” x 66”

This beautiful quilt is a single bed 'Topper', or the designs may be worked as separate units.   The flowers of Spring are worked in Broderie Perse (fused onto the background and the Blanket Stitched to secure). They may just as easily be worked in traditional needle-turn appliqué by adding a small seam allowance. The end panels are embroidered in Stem Stitch.

1923 Priscilla Quilt Pattern Book

This pattern book contains all the instructions to make a beautiful vintage designed quilt from hand drawn pictures in a 1923 magazine.  We have brought it into the present day with colours as true to the original pictures as possible, and have designed a lattice in keeping with the period.  The charm of this quilt is in its simplicity.  All the motifs may be used by themselves for individual themes.  We have made our quilt with the Broderie Perse method, but all the designs lend themselves to traditional needleturn appliqué if you prefer.

The Poppy Quilt Pattern Book

Pattern Book only - Full sized Patterns for the Poppy Quilt which also has an alternative simple pieced border centre to replace the hand stencilled Art Nouveau centre that is supplied in the fabric packs.  The rest of the quilt pattern is the same as the original quilt that we made. Poppies send their riot of colour across this beautiful quilt with a touch of Art Nouveau. The quilt is versatile.  It could be a lovely wall hanging or lap quilt, or perhaps worked into the centre of a larger project with the addition of extra borders, etc.  All the motifs are 'stand alone' designs.

Victorian Fan Panel

The kit contains one hand screen gold printed fan on navy fabric that you will work in your choice of colour, and apply to your own background.  Whatever colour you work the pansies etc in on the fan determines the colour of the fan.  And your choice of background may complement the finished item.  Eg we worked our pansies in mauves and applied the finished fan to a mauve background, therefore it looks like a mauve panel.
